The story revolves around the main protagonists, Hozumi Yutaka, and Ueda Minoru. Yutaka is a working man and has a passion for cooking. He feels shy and tough to share his food with others. One day, Tane and Minoru got drawn to his cooking. They were impressed by his skills and invited him to their home. Yutaka’s life changed, and Minoru and his family became a part of his daily life. He loved sharing meals with Minoru and Tane. he started having feeling toward Minoru.

Ishibashi Yuho and Iizuka Kashou are behind the direction of the Bl series Our Dining Table. Inukai Atsuhiro and Iijima Hiroki played the main character, Hozumi Yutaka and Ueda Minoru. Our Dining Table Spin-off is a special episode premiering on GagaOOlala on June 15, 2023.

At the OST Designs, it is the end of the year at the office. Hozumi Yutaka is thinking about the last words said by Minoru. He wanted everything to be back as it was before. After that day, Minoru has not contacted Yutaka again. This year is going to end soon. Yutaka receives a message from his brother, Yukie, asking whether he will come home for New Year’s Eve.

Ueda Tane is asking Minori about Yukata’s arrival. He was excited to go to the Shine with them as promised. Minoru confronts Tane with the fact that they will not be able to attend the Shine this year and that the scenario will not be the same as previously. Tane recommends Minoru apologize to Yutaka for the fight. Meanwhile, Yutaka returned home for the first time in a long time on New Year’s Eve.

Yukie mentioned that Yutaka rarely visited the home. Yutaka keeps apologizing, and it feels like it has become his habit. Yutaka explains that he has always felt apologetic toward Yukie for coming to live with his family. He has found the place that makes him feel like a family. Yukie notes that when Yutaka came home for the first time, he was irritated by a stranger in his house.

Yukie was young, but still, he wanted to bond with Yutaka like a brother. Yutaka never accepted himself as a part of the Hozumi family. He started growing apart, and his parents didn’t want to bother him now. Yukie assures him that this is his home too. Their parents came back home, and they were happy to see him. They tell stories about Yukie staying up all night to care for the sick Yutaka.

Ueda Koji talks about how the presence of Yutaka filled their life with smiles. Yukata came to their house and made their weekend meals more lively. Minoru and Yukata had good times together, but now they are not talking. His father, Koji, scolds him for acting unstable and jeopardizing his life. Yutaka and Minoru meet each other outside of the house. Yutaka is thankful to Minoru for making him feel comfortable and adding value to his life.

Yutaka confesses that he still wants to be with Minoru. They want to be together, and everything won’t be like before, and they are happy about it. Yutaka, Minoru, and Tane came to the Shine as planned. Yutaka is no more gloomy, and his colleagues can feel the change. He is scared that if they break up, what will happen to them?
